A historic 19th-century coffee hacienda hidden in the mountains between Juayúa and Apaneca, Hacienda Los Nacimientos (named for the natural springs — nacimientos — that bubble up across the property) offers one of the most atmospheric coffee tours on the Ruta de las Flores. The crumbling hacienda buildings, century-old stone beneficio, and lush forest trails make it feel like stepping back in time. The Rivas family runs small-group tours that pair the hacienda's rich coffee history with a hands-on look at traditional Salvadoran wet processing — using the same stone channels and wooden pulping equipment their great-grandfather installed over 100 years ago.
